KrisFlyer Sprint Off Judd Street Agenda

English galloper Judd Street will not be making his way to Singapore to run in the $1million KrisFlyer International Sprint over 1200 metres on May 18.

Judd Street finished a disappointing eighth behind Captain Gerrard in the Group 3 Palace House Stakes over five furlongs at Newmarket on Sunday.

Jockey Steve Carson reported to trainer Eve Johnson-Houghton that Judd Street had run too fresh and was a spent force at the halfway stage on the race.

Judd Street was down to run at a meeting at Newbury last week, but a soft track put those plans on hold.

Johnson-Houghton said she believed she hadn’t worked Judd Street hard enough in the lead-up Sunday’s race.

The Palace House was to be Judd Street’s final hitout before flying to Singapore later this week.
